I wanted to cancel my direct deposit and receive my check via mail. (I am closing my bank account) Is there a law that if I am supposed to receive my money tomorrow.. that they must fed-ex or prioritize my check in the mail so I get it as soon as possible? Please let me know, so I can alert Human Resources that I am aware that they must make it a priority to get me my check as soon as possible.
