As there are no specific topics or issues one must focus on in a Law School personal statement, I find myself thinking, "where do I begin??" It really seems open-ended...
Anyhow, I am planning on applying to law school this coming Fall, and although it's still early, I'd like to get a start on my personal statement (jot down ideas, freewrite, outline, etc.). I thought I'd ask a couple of questions-- to anyone who has applied to law school, or is familiar with the application process:
A) Is it a good idea to ask for outside help (eg., testprep companies) with the personal statement, or it it equally as useful to get ideas/advice from online sources?
B) Any tips or advice on writing a personal statement?
