I am renting a room out to a young lady, and was wondering if someone could run her name and tell me whether or not she has a criminal history. I don't need anything super in depth I just need to make sure before I let her into my home with my children.If you can help please message me for her name.Thank you.
 
Dont know about where you live, but using CPIC (Canadian Police Information Center) for that purpose is grounds for a charge under the Police act and to be fired.
 
Unfortunantly it is illegal for a cop to run a person for a reason such as this, at least in CA. What you can do is (in most areas) go to your superior court website and conduct a Master Name Search. This will bring up anything from speeding tickets to divorces to fellony arrests. If there is no website for the court then there are other avenues such as credit checks (which contain public records and you can also see discrepencies such as the person not paying bills for a year) and there are even some websites that for a fee will conduct a backgroung check.
