Not if they had stuck to the premise that Gerard Butler had taken so many precautions he couldn't be stopped. As the guy from the CIA said, they wouldn't be able to stop him because he was such a genius. It was when they diverted from this idea, that the film went down hill for me. Until then, I couldn't see how on earth the film would end and it would need a really clever twist. There is no way the 'good guys' would have been able to walk right into the building owned by Butler and used as his way of escaping from jail, given how much attention to detail Butler's character paid up to that point. That was the moment the plot went wrong and spoiled the ending.
