Law Abiding Citizen.

I was surprised by how good the film was actually, I had quiet low expectations to begin with though, just wish the ending was a little better.

This is possibly a film that if I saw it I may have a better oppinion of but I saw a trailer for it and removed from my films to see before I die list...

Couldn't agree more and just posted about it last week on the 'Last movie you watched' thread. Totally hooked until something spoiled it about 20 minutes from the end.

Oh my god that film was horrible, characters so unlikeable you want them all to die by the end, esp the prosecutor. It just sorta coasted along with no soul, stuff just happening.
Sorta like that armored movie as well cept you want the main character to die in that one for being such a kill joy.

Not really, I think what I said made sense :S I loved it all except for the ending, which was alright, just not up to the quality of the rest of the film.

Am I being thick and missing something here?

Not if they had stuck to the premise that Gerard Butler had taken so many precautions he couldn't be stopped. As the guy from the CIA said, they wouldn't be able to stop him because he was such a genius. It was when they diverted from this idea, that the film went down hill for me. Until then, I couldn't see how on earth the film would end and it would need a really clever twist. There is no way the 'good guys' would have been able to walk right into the building owned by Butler and used as his way of escaping from jail, given how much attention to detail Butler's character paid up to that point. That was the moment the plot went wrong and spoiled the ending.

I meant what happened after they discovered how he was doing it and found the napalm bomb. Then it was obvious they would put it in his cell.
