"Laura Bush also said she disagrees with critics who have deemed her husband’s presidency a failure."
In what world is laura Bush living,Obviously the recession is not hitting the Bush's who got only richer from oil shares and gasoline prices, this lady Bush either has Alzheimer's or has the same diabolic principles Bush has.
Bush is responsible for more then 4500 US soldier killed in iraq, more then 1000,000 Iraqi civilians who some of them were tortured and arrested without other reason then defending against US invaders. Bush responsible for the death of more then 3500 US civilians at the trade center, killed to excuse him to invade and loot Iraqi's oil.If Laura Bush is not aware of the criminal activities of Bush , she is demented or living in the same drugs Bush is Using.

Oh, is it, "Jeopardy Day" again?
You, know, where the answer comes in the form of a question?

hmm, ",Obviously the recession is not hitting the Bush's", or the Kennedy's , the Obamas, the Dodds, the Waters, for that matter, any and all Senators, House, Supreme court, or even any of the staff for these branches of government.
Amazing, how everything bad, was done by one man, all by himself.
I think your post, is an assault.....
On intelligence.
You might fight it rewarding to try and begin, to understand this concept.
If times are good, everyone claims responsibility, but when things turn down? Just one man did it.

well said
I hope they free that man who threw the shoe

and the apparent wealth we had between 2001 and now was phony wealth, high-risk loans, phony companies like Enron, etc...

You have to look at it from the Iraqis point of view. Showing anyone the bottom of your shoe alone in Iraq is a sign of disrespect. It wasn't an issue of throw anything at him. So if showing someone the bottom of your show is a sign of disrespect, imagine what throwing one at someone is.

When Saddam was captured, the Iraqi people took off their shoes and hit his statues with them. That was the people of Iraq showing extremely disrespect towards Saddam because they hated and feared him so much.

Technically it was assault. Was it pointless in the eyes of Americans, yes for the most part. But in Iraq it was a major sign of disrespect. That is why it is such an issue.
