- Animated screen previews (like Expos? or HTC Sense)
- Up to 7 home screens
- App drawer (2D and 3D!) with a fly-in effect and smooth scrolling
- Scrollable shortcut dock
News regards to this version:
Fixed the bug where the app drawer?s home button would show for a second after coming back from an application.Fixed screen previews when choosing to have 2 homescreensFixed some folder-related bugs when 5-row option is selected.New screen indicator (optional). If you?re not using the homescreen dots in your dock, you can choose do display a small indicator at the bottom of the screen to know on which homescreen you are. You can enable it in the preferencesNew: The app drawer button is now a regular dock shortcut. That means you can change its position, change its icon, or remove it entirely.New: The dock has grown! Swipe the dock to the left (down in landscape) to reveal 5 additional shortcut spaces. Now swipe it again for 5 more! That makes a total of 15 shortctus. You can add the app drawer button on the new dock spaces by long-pressing on one and choosing ?App Drawer?.New: Option to keep LauncherPro in memory. When you?re running low on memory, the system usually kills LauncherPro, so next time you open it, it has to reload all widgets and icons which takes a few seconds. This option should keep the system from killing LauncherPro. If you experience any troubles with it, please disable it on the settings. Click here to download the APK file.

Hello there, Android newbie here.

Where do I upload the install file to my phone?

Presum that is to SDcard but wich location (folder)?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the fast replie, but my doubt is where to I download the file in the SDcard, in the root or any specific location (I must create some folder or something like that)?

Sorry to boring You, and thanks for the app tip (apkinstaller).

You can put it wherever you want and use Astro file manager to navigate to it and even install it also. If you're going to install something not on the market you have to go into settings>applications and then check mark the option to unknown sources. You can get Astro from the market, I'm pretty sure Launcher Pro is on there to.

Doing it right now.

In a while I'll post here some feedback.

Thanks again for your big help.

Hum remembered right now, the app runs on 1.6 vs?

If not, forget it all the previous questions.

Well bad news for me, vs 1.6 doesnt support the app.

Think its only work with to 2.0 and >

Meanwhile I installed ADW.Launcher and is pretty awesome, Very nice app and with a multiple functions, thats a good find.

Anyway thanks again to all who tried to help me.

Regards.

Glad you got it sorted out. By the way, what device are you using? I thought it would run on 1.6 because it said it supported mdpi devices as well as hpdi devices. Helix Launcher is another nice launcher.

No problem at all, I understand what do You mean and isnt a mistake of You, course not.

Like I said previously, I really like the ADW.Launcher and I gonna work with him in the device. Thanks again for your concerne and for your effort to help me.

Kind regards.

Off-Topic: My device is this one: GSmart G1305 Boston maded by Foxconn, partner from Apple and marked by Gigabyte.

On sale in Portugal with the blend "Optimus Boston", and in Spain Orange Boston. Is a serious case of sales in both countries, a lot of people have purchased this smartphone.

The only drawback is the OS 1.6, but we belive the update is coming out by the end of August. We hope sooner or later that happen.

I was actually coming back to this thread to recommend ADW launcher. I used to use launcher pro but, ever since Cyanogen made ADW the stock launcher I've been using it and loving it. I love that you can change the amount of rows/columns. I always wished my nice big 3.7" display could have more icons, now I have 5 columns 6 rows! And I know ADW is 1.6 and up. Glad you got it worked out.
