Late for work....AGAIN!!

Ok I'm starting to really get pissed off at myself. I have been working for a company for about a year now.. I have never been later up until last Friday..

I thought I didn't work until later in the day at like 2pm.. They call me at 11am.. I don't answer.. No way are they calling me in early. . I check my voicemail and it is my boss form work... he says something like
"Hey Nick this is barry from work... you were supposed to be here at 9 this morning, it appears you are 2 hours late for work, just calling to see if everything is ok and if you are still coming in.. please call me immediately"

I call him back immediately (freaking out). I quickly apologized and took off from my house within 10 minutes. I get to work and its no big deal.. First time.. Who cares.. they just shrug it off. All cool right?

Now it's wonderful Friday once again.. I'm at home playing video games, I checked my schedule when I woke up in the morning. I see that I work at 5pm. Around 4 I'm all ready for work.. just browsing WTF.com.... I get a phone call from work. I don't answer. Don't feel like coming in a little early. I check my voice mail.. Guess what? Yep. That
 
dude...being late SUCKS! i used to set about 4 or 5 alarms on my phone...now i just abuse the sleep button. i haven't really late to work before, and i'm hoping that doesnt happen. however, good luck and i hope you aren't late in the future!
 
Hrm... I can't really think of any horrible late-for-work stories... I've been late a few times before, though.
When I used to work at a pizza place, I was pretty late once. I was staying at a friend's house for a week since I was having problems at home. My friend and I were talking in her room, when suddenly the phone rings. It was one of my coworkers, and she told me that I was supposed to come in to work about an hour prior. So I got pissed, but whatever. I didn't know I was supposed to work that day, apparently someone switched my schedule without telling me. Lame!
