Does anyone know if the Helio Ocean will work in vegas flashed or does it have to be a tri-band phone? thanks

Check Cricket's website and look at the coverage map for your area. It will tell you if you need a tri-band phone or not.

Only the 5 AWS phones will work so far in Vegas. The messenger is pretty nice.

Vegas will be tri-band forever. And yes the Messager is nice.

You can use the Ocean but it would be in roaming the whole time, so basically it is useless. And yes it will be tri-band forever

It might not be THAT bad if you have the 250 minutes of roaming. You'd still have unlimited texts haha... and that phone doesn't have web or MMS anyway...

the only problem with the Messager IMHO is the lack of video capture. otherwise it would be one sweet phone.
if the cricket goRAB are listening: people would gladly pay an extra $50 for video capture in the messager!!!

i know a lot of people tell me it's not that big a deal... but i have taken some pretty funny videos on my nokia, and it's one of the things i dislike about my blackberry.
