Anyone seen this movie, I watched it today, it was beautiful and a very touching film and the acting was wonderful

i agree
you need to suspend your disbelief a bit i think (the WHOLE town letting him carry on with his characde??) but if you do, you will be rewarded.
i thought emily mortimer and paul schneider as his brother and sister in law and patricia clarkson as his therapist were all wonderful
it was nice to see a film about 'decent' people who cared about each other
i cried a few times too

Yes I think the doll believe it or not has an affect on their lives, because though they were doing it for him to begin with as the film goes on it's like they're doing it for themselves as well
