Larger exhaust pipes...new fuel processor?

No it's not required unless you want the performance gain available from the swap. I'm installing cruzers on mine and will not be adding a processor at this time untill the intake is modified or changed out. I was at the dealer today ordering new gaskets and he said right off that if I was unsure about if I was going to upgrade the intake then I should wait unitll I do.

The answer is a big fat "It depends"...

The size of the pipes is not that important. What matters is how much air they flow. A motor is basically a big air pump, sucking air in the intake and pushing it out the exhaust. Change the air flow to much and you will need to change the amount of fuel delivered also. Change it just a little, and you should be OK.

What pipes are you looking at? Or, if you do not have a certain brand/ style in mind, maybe you could post on the M50 board and ask what pipes people have been able to put on without a fuel processor...
