Large painful pimple ON my butthole?

About 3 months ago I started getting pain when I pooped and a little bit of blood. I figured it would go away but then i realized a little pimple like thing on my butthole, almost covering it, but not. it is very painful to go to the bathroom and it has gotten bigger over time, it also almost looks like a whitehead because it has a whitetip. what it this?
 
I had something like this many years ago. It was a cyst that appeared above my anus in the fold between my buttocks. I didn't go to a dr., and it eventually healed by itself over a few months. I casually mentioned it to my current dr, and he immediately gave it some long medical name (which I don't remember) and said he sees several of them every year. He didn't mention the treatment. Please note that yours sounds a little different than mine, and you may have something different than I did, so it would be wise to have it checked out.
