Large letter-sized Jiffy Bags, post box or Post Office?

I'm going to be selling a few games on ebay and I've bought a few jiffy bags (large letter size) to send them in. So I was wondering whether I'd be able to put these into a post box or if I'd have to take them to the Post Office to be sent.
I just recently moved house, to an area I'm not familiar with so I'd have to find out where the Post Office is if I can't put them in the post box.
 
Unless you know how much postage is going to be, I'd take them to the post office.

If they get sent back, that postage you first put on is cancelled and can't be re-used.
