Ok, I am usually a computer wiz at this stuff but I can't figure out the commands when I am in the IPconfig window. So here is the story: I have a laptop that I really hate because when I switch houses (from mom's to dad's) I can't get internet at his. It says invalid IP adress. I am switching from Lynskys wireless to Nexus or Guest wireless at his, and none work! I checked the status and is says encryption disabled, which I don't know what it is. And in the IPconfig (after pressing windows button, r, cmd, and ipconfig) says media disconnected. So how in the world am I supposed to switch routers? Btw my mom has all PC's and my dad has Macs but also PC laptops. Help! Oh and if you aren't good at computer formats then go away!
