Laptop Doesn't Recognize Blackberry 9700 Anymore?

So, I have a 9700 that I used and it worked fine when I plugged it up to my laptop. I've install/ uninstalled programs and everything without any problems.

Well, a few days ago, I wanted to put some new programs on it and my laptop didn't recognize my Blackberry. It said that it was charging, but no screen to input my password came up. I have mass storage mode enabled and everything. And Desktop Manager (v6) even still has the picture of my phone on the SUMMARY page (even though it no longer does because I've tried erasing all of the Research In Motion data in an attempt to install everything again).

I've tried every solution. Even my cousin's 8350 isn't recognized and she's having the exact same problem as me. The strange thing is that my laptop does however, recognize my old Blackberry (8700) without ANY problems.

I've tried downloading the latest drivers. Someone PLEASE help.

I've had Blackberry's for years but I'm completely stumped on this. The only solution I can think of is that I don't have the correct drivers installed or something. Someone people help...
