I recently had back surgery for a herniated disc, L5S1. I would like to know what kind of laptop bag that everyone uses for work? I have one with handles, and I know that will not work anymore. I just use is for carrying my laptop to and from the office.

Thanks,
Robin

Not one brand in particular, but you want one that is lightest in weight that can also give you any storage and toting features that you like. I suggest shopping around at different types before making a purchase. That way, you get the best one for you. Sleeves are good, but not recommend by themselves unless you are literally walking from your car right into the door of your office.

Good luck.

Probably the best option, if you can't or don't want to actually carry anything...would be a compact, fold-away luggage cart. They make small ones, and it looks like a dolly, but smaller. Many are compact and have the handles pull out of the top, plus they usually have some sort of straps to wrap around your items to keep them in place. One does not need to buy the luggage..you just buy the little cart. I am in school right now and we have soo many heavy books, its unbelievable. I personally cannot even use the cart option because I have no way to get the books (or luggage or book bag) off of the cart and into my car, so I leave mine at school in a cubby a teacher let me use. But most everyone else in school uses those luggage carts...its very easy to just pull it behind you.
