Langston University in Oklahoma!?

Im a senior in high school & im interested in attending LU. I'm not from Oklahoma so i dont really know much except for what i see and read on the website. Everytime i tell someone im interested in LU they say something negative about the school. Do you or anyone you know attend? Thanks
