Lakes Entrance Fishing bait, type of fish, good spots, any info?

i am going to lakes entrance on the weekend and need some help i have a few surf rods and boat rods with stacks of hooks, sinkers, waders, etc.

I am mainly going to be fishing off the piers and the beach early in the morning.

i need to know what type of fish can be caught, the type bait and any good spots??

i heard that alot of crabs can be cached off the piers, is that true? also will a yabbie net be okay to catch then( i have caught fresh water spiny crays with them)

Any other information you can give me about fishing in lakes entrance will be greatlyappreciatedd
