This year me and a couple friends are planing to ride down to laguna seca for gp from Bellingham WA. I have never been and i would love some advice as far as the seating package i should get, coming a long way so i want the best option.

only advice i can give you is to be sure to go the speed limit as soon as you hit san jose.

i've never seen anything like it...just the sheer number of leo's harassing anyone and everyone from about san jose all the way to laguna.

craziest thing i've ever seen was the motorcycle cop on the overpass flagging speeders on teh highway below and then calling it in to his 10 buddies 200 yards down the highway.

As was stated before, dont fuck around on the bike once you get anywhere near (within an hour) the peninsula because you will get nailed. The cops are pricks and have actually been getting some heat about it but they wont back down so it wont matter.

The grandstands on either side have a TV set up so you can actually see whats going on throughout the track. Laguna really isnt that viewer friendly but I tend to watch the race from the hillside though I am from here so I wont be much help as I usually slum it at the track.

its awesome everywhere, have to see them go through the corkscrew... down the front straight, turn 2 double apex, definately can't stay in one spot! I have a friend who camps at turn 5 which was way cool to see lorenzo highside to the moon right infront of us. :-)
