Hey Scrappi,

Allergies! AHHH!! everyone here suffers with them too! So I know exactly how Little E feels!

Well, hopefully you will catch a break before too much longer. You definitely deserve one!

At this point, yes, I think I could live without surgery. My worst pain occurs after sitting somewhere...or walking on concrete...of which I can minimize putting myself in those circumstances...therefore, can alleviate myself from the need of having to have surgery. But that means that I have to limit my activities...not doing things on a regular basis...just here and there. Id much rather limit doing things, than risk surgery and ending up worse than what I already am. I went with my girls to the races...I was there 30 minutes, and was getting so restless and miserable....but I sucked it up til the hour mark...and I couldnt take it any longer...so I had my daughter go walkin with me to walk it out and to get out of that chair!!...I had taken naproxen before I left the house, in hopes that it would help....we had another 4 hours at least for the races to end...I didnt think I was going to make it...I knew that if I didnt try something....I was going to have to go home. So, I took 2 anacins, and prayed that it would work. We went back to sit down...and within about 30-45 minutes, I had some relief. Not totally...but enough to where I wasnt miserable. Well..then it started raining...LOL...so the race got cancelled. The positive thing was...I was able to move after sitting again after taking the anacins! So, I think Im going to try my luck at it again next weekend to see if I can tolerate it all the way through to the end of the race with the naproxen and anacin...unless it rains again..lol. but the sad part about it is....i cant live on aspirins...as you know that isnt good for you..stomach wise as well as it thinning your blood.....so thats something that i could only do here and there as well.....ahhhh!! lol. so hopefully, the aspirins will help enough to where i can do something here and there thats enjoyable!

how was your weekend?? i hope to hear that you had a great, pain-free weekend!!! ;)

Hey Scrappi,

Yeah I think it is amazing that it worked...but...since it was rained out...I didnt get to see how long it would work or what kind of shape I would be in the next day after sitting all that time. If it doesnt rain..Im gonna try it again this weekend...but they are calling for 50% chance of storms...so who knows!! lol.
If I do settle..I will just go through my primary dr for pain meRAB. She is really good, and knows that I dont abuse medications, so I already know that I wont have a problem getting anything that I feel that I might need. Im not interested in a PM dr.....the joke of one that I had through wc turned me totally against pm drs. my primary dr will do just as good as one of them..if not even better!! lol.

Welllll....happy late birthday!!!!! :D That was very sweet of your parents to do that for you!! Awww thats so pitiful about Little E sayin he was sad to see his grandparents leave..lol. enough to make you giggle, and yet, wanna make you cry too! lol.
I know what you mean about not getting to do things with Little E. Its hard I know. But as long as you do what you can..Im sure he will love you for at least trying! I personally would not let him learn that the problems began after giving birth to him. That way theres no chance he could blame himself for it. But thats just me. But then again....its not like HE caused it..lol. HE didnt tell you to get pg...and HE had nothing to do with your back regardless. Its not like he came up to you and bopped you real good on your back and caused this to happen....you were giving birth to him...something..you created....LOL....(sorry....just tryin to throw some humor in there..lol) So I dont know how I would handle it if it were me.

A consult with an ortho probably wont hurt. Might as well just to see what they would have to say anyway. Ive always heard neuros are better, because they deal with the nerves alot more than reg. orthos...but I dont know!! I think it all depenRAB on how good the dr is, personally.

Well...I guess Im gonna go on to bed for now. ttyl
