After 4 years together and much discussion, I asked my girl to marry me and she accepted. However, a time before this, she left me because she claimed that I didn't ask her soon enough and she didn't want to wait around anymore. I don't believe that 4 years is too long..we are both 29. However, I would've asked her sooner but she had been into prescription drugs and rehab so I decided to wait on it and see if things with her improved and they did. But after the much anticipated proposal and engagement ring, she breaks all of her promises that she made and continues in her old ways...meeting other guys for drugs behind my back, lying like there's no tomorrow, stealing money from me, etc. Do you think things are ever gonna get better? Why would she jeopardize everything that supposedly meant so much to her? This is ridiculous, i know. Thanks
