Ladies - What would you do in this situation……….?
You’re spending the day with a friend (who you consider family) and her fiancée and towards the end of the night you and he end up alone together. He immediately moves closer towards you and says very inappropriate things. Before you even have a chance to react your friend, his girl, walks in, clocks the situation but doesn’t say anything. The entire mood of course changes from that point on and becomes very awkward. You decide to call it a night and leave.
A day later you find out your friend tells mutual friends of yours that YOU cornered her man the first chance you got and embarrassed yourself by trying to hit on him.
You confront her, knowing that it’s your word against his, and not surprisingly she decides to believe him.
What would you do? On one hand, I see her siding with him as her way of securing their future together and I think if I were to pursue this and bring what really happened to light (by confronting him in front of her) it would only make her more miserable, which I obviously don’t want but I also don’t think her happiness should come at my expense.
Would you leave it alone or uncover the truth and let the chips fall where they may?
