I always go to the washroom after - avoids UTI's (they're not fun, trust me.)
Then I usually go back, and we end up napping/sleeping. Best sleeps come from sex sometimes, you're so comfortable together in each others arms.
Me and my partner usually just lie together after and fall asleep, i would never ruin that moment by getting up to take a shower.
Dont worry, just get a shower first thing in the morning before you do anything else.
If there is a mess down there though i will indeed just go to bathroom and clean up. Wet wipes are good in these situations!!
