i am looking at getting clothing for an extremely long hike in the bush up north and for more than a month possibly even 2 months. sense they persons i am going with are guys, they do not know much about female hikers. so i am hoping i can find a female out there who can help with some ideas of what clothing to get. i am looking at getting a pair of old combat boots and 1 or 2 pairs of old combat pants but what other clothes is best to get on limited funds; also what is better sports briefs or boys boxer/briefs? Lastly how many of each item would you and should i take?
northern canadian bush, startinging off in northern bc and going through the terrietories. not sure exactly how far or how long, they are in charge of all that

get a pair of boots that fit you first off - old broken combat boots might not be the best? there are trail running shoes that are far more comfortable...depends if you are packing lots of weight and the type of terrain

break it down into layers of clothing. (an under layer, a warm layer, a wind/rain layer - or a hiking layer and a camp layer.

usually stay away from cotton unless you are in the desert.

a lot of it just depends on what bush you are going to
