awake, or the full 24 hour day? I am in 8th grade & have already started my period. I heard that the first & second days of your period are the heaviest. I am unsure whether this means that the time I am awake (say, 6:00 to 10:00) is considered the first or second day, or if the full 24 hours in a day is considered the first or second day. I know I would still bleed during sleep, but I've noticed that it's not as heavy. Do you know? If it's the full 24 hours... I started my period on Thursday, so today was my second day, & tomorrow (Saturday) will be my third. Respectful answers please, thank you
