I bought an MDF board to make a ping pong table. I bought rustoleum lacquer spray paint chinese red. The can said I didnt need primer. I did lightly sand my board and followed the directions to the best of my ability. The board which is regulation 5ft wide and 9 ft long. I will spray a few minutes then wait 10 minutes and repeat doing this until the can is gone. I notice when the paint is dry to the touch there is a powdery film on the table. I wipe off the powder but it will be good to the touch but will rub off on clothes. I have even let the table set for a week with no touching or repainting. Any suggestion will be helpful. All tips welcome. The table is looking good its just the paint transfers to the ball and clothes but not skin.
