lack of power on 02 ford?

my 02 ford f-150 4.9 liter surges at a idle and it has no power under 3000 rpm and when you power brake it has hesitation bad and when you give it more gas as power braking it will make a loud chirp what is wrong with my truck. is the chirp in the tranny or the exaust i cleand my maf sensor with electric cleaner and still has hesatation can fill it going down the road it also does it under a load only why. please help

If you have an 02 F-150 it does not have a 4.9L engine. The 4.2L V6, 4.6L V8, and the 5.4L V8 were the only choices.
