I reside in PA so does the employer. I was employed by this company from 5/19/08 to 6/13/08. I signed an at will contract. They stated in the contract the 1500.00 a week I would recieved was contigent upon me meeting the goals in the contract.
Those goals were to sign hire and train sales personell, sell 6 new client vendors a week etc.. There were no sales people there. They paid me for three weeks of employment. I was told when I first started the first week of pay is with held. The first check i recieved on 5/30/08 and the start date of that check as 4/28/08? My first date of employment was 5/19/08. I recieved 2 checks from them. The first on 5/30/08 for 1500.00 gross and the second for 3K gross. They told me on 6/13/08 they couldnt afford me anymore.
The last check i recieved it said the pay period was over on 6/8/08. How could that be if they withheld my first week of pay?
They are claiming they do not owe me anymore money. I feel they owe me still one week if only paid 3
