I had a posterior fusion w/hdwe of L5, S1, about 6 months ago. I have severe DDD and the drs. are waiting for my Ok on another fusion of my cervical. All discs below C3 are ruptured in cervical area causing severe constant pain. My T6 and T7 are also ruptured causing severe pain, life is very hard because I hate narcotics and would never want to be dependent on them. How much longer do you think it will be til my foot and lower back pain get better. My feet have not had the intense constant burning since surgery but pain is still bad and much activity makes it worse. Because of my DDD I have not been able to do much physical therapy. Pain specialist said my surgery was a 10 on pain scale but cervical fusion would be about a 4 or 5. I don't know how much more I can take. My blood pressure meRAB have doubled since surgery because of pain.
