Hello,
About a year ago, I fell down a flight of stairs at work and permanently damaged L3-L5. The Doctor

Hi. I just read your post. I assume that MRI and CT scans have been done. It sounRAB like you have been thru the treatment mill. What type of doctor was treating you? Orthopedic or Neurosurgeon? Have you gone for 2nd or 3rd opinions? Please clarify who is treating you. Also who ever treats you are they specialists in spine problems?
Please go for other opinions. I personally seek help at a major hospital/teaching facitily. I have been thru 6 spine surgeries myself and believe in goint to only the best of the best.
Again please clarify who is treating you.
Good luck!

Hi brittwestt, sorry to hear about what happened to you. I also hurt my back at work 8 yrs ago and it took all my lively hood away also/ I have had 5 back surgeries and the last ened up as a fushion from L3-S1 then They put in what they call Medtronic my stim implant ,it's something you should talk to your dr about. Alot of people get so much relief from back pain from having it, myself I only got 30% but that is unusal, talk to your dr thou it wont hurt, and it can help you big time, and they do have a trail period for you to try it out before your get in put inside you...Good luck to you and let me know what happens...
