Question? I had Lurabar Fusion for L5-S1 with the cage and the BMP. I am 2 months post op and just had post-op appointment and NO FUSION yet? I think this is still ok? I have been suufering with return of SCIATIC Nerve Pain 1 month post op. It has been constant and terrible at times. I have started on Neurontin which the first couple of weeks worked great!! Thank Goodness as I am so tired of FREAKIN Hurting!!!!! The last 2 weeks not so much. I am working on increasing my dose. Current 300mg TID but I am doobling the dose at night 600mg. This puts me out! SO how am I going to start to double during the day without being gorked? WHY Do I have SCIATIC??? Need some reassurance here, please!
BIG question, I have DDD in my L3-L4 with minor disc bulge. Do the Sciatic nerve fibers begin this high up? I have been doing my reserach and I am not completley clear on this. So help me because my NeuroSurgeon was convinced this disc did not look that bad preop. Well he said that about my L5 S1 and it was almost shredded when he was in there. Concerned that possibly this is causing my problem. Any suggestions etc.:wave:
