I have had severe back pain since July 2008. I recently had an MRI and the report states - Degenerative change @ L5-S1 disk w/some asymmetric bulge towarRAB the left lateral recess and neural foramen, primarily displacing epidural fat only. I am currently receiving physical therapy which consists of press-ups only as that is all I can tolerate. I am wondering what options are left for this pain I cannot get rid of.

Have they tried any epidural steroid injections or nerve blocks? Also accupuncture, pool therapy, and/or massage is sometimes helpful.

I have had 2 epidural injections since August with little relief....I am scheduled to see a specialist this month, I am just tired of waiting and being restricted to so many things....
