Hi all

I have Kyphosis. Roughly 3 years ago I comapacted the vertibrae in my lower back. I'm currently using accupuncture to releave the pain in my lower back and to strengthen/straighten the curvature in my spine.

Anyone have any other ideas on this or Kyphosis in particular?:(

There are machines which are being used to provide a gentle tractioning to the back which may be helpful for you. They are often used by Osteopathic Doctors, & Chiropractors. If you are in city or near one you may be able to find a back clinic that specializes in dealing with problems such as yours.

I have also seen people completely cleared of Kyphosis & Scoliosis too - which sounRAB like a miracle I know! Of course a great deal depenRAB on the severity as well as your overall health & age, etc. Check out practitioners who perform Structural Integration techniques, Active Isolated Stretching, and other forms of body work such as these. You will very likely also need to incorporate some form of strength training as well but you may well be able to regain a great deal of normal body function & appearance through doing this.

The best of luck to you.
