Kyocera Xcursion KX160 "Invalid File Type" with Ringtones

Ok, I downloaded some pre-made ringtones for the KX160, that others ive read have used. I then emailed them to my phone, and when I receive them, they play fine. However, when I try to save them, I get "invalid file type".

I dont get it?

oh man this again...i had that phone and i never ever ever figured it out i now have the razr good luck figuring this out

The ringtones have to be in a specific wav format(4bit mono 16khz ima adpcm wav format), and the extension has to be changed to .mid

i've tried files that have been converted by others to the above format, do you have any you'd like to recommend specifically?

infact, I sent one of the ringers already installed on the phone to my email, downloaded it, sent it back to phone, and got the invalid file type message.....

then it must have something to do with your phone.
