Does anyone have any tricks for a lingo that was droped in a bucket of water? I have heard of some phones that get water damage that there is a part that has to get replaced then most times it will start back up with no problems. I was wondering if the lingo has anything like that or if its a lost cause.

no no insurance on it. It has been drying out for a day now and the screen is starting to turn white when it gets powered up. Before it was not doing anything. Im hoping it will work once its dried out a few days I just didnt know if there were any other tricks for it.

I dunno about you, but I wouldn't be turning it on for a while... I'd put it inside a warm environment with little to no moisture. You turning it on with it still wet or even damp could easily kill it.

I dropped my Wild_Card in the tub... don't ask. Just removed the battery cover and battery and left it out in my living room for 2 or 3 weeks. It seems to work fine now.

one thing i can recommend..if you have the tools to take it apart then put the board on a cup full of alcohol for like 2 days and then take it out and scrub it with a tooth brush..sometimes it works..**try at your own risk**

we have a water treatment process here at the shop, first thing, ANYTIME a phone goes in the drink, pull the batt, a charge batt can damage the phone while its full of water, also with our process, i recommend that you clean and scrub the board with rubbing alcohol to remove any corrosion and then hit it with a corrosive inhibitor, as even if the phone dries out and powers and works, if you don't clean the corrosion on it, itll build and will eventually prob take out your phone,

P.S. do all of this at your own risk, we have done a few with the process, some will work after, some will not, just depenRAB on how badly the phone got damaged.

Once upon a time, I was going downstairs to the laundry room.

I heard a repetitive *THUNK* *THUNK* *THUNK* coming from the dryer.

Upon investigation I found my Moto v65 (The moto clamshell with the metal case). It had apparently gone through the wash, and was working on the turable dry cycle.

That thing was HOOOOOOT! I picked it up and dropped it when it burned me.

The dryer was probably what saved it. Worked fine after that.
