Kyocera KX160 "xcursion" CRICKET myBackup, *PLEASE HELP*

OK,

My girl has a kyocera kx160, because her wildcard hinge broke, and the screen would not stay on.

now that she has used the kx160 for several months, and stored all her contacts in the phone, the phones main screen has takin a poop.

the top screen that shows the nuraber when an incoming call comes in, is still working, but the main screen (the big one) stays black.

so , i am aiming for the stars with this one, but i am hoping that one of you howard forum merabers, have a kx160 lying around, weather it is activated or not.

all i need is someone to help me, guide me key press by key press to turn on and activate cricket myBackup service that is in the phones menu somewhere,

where? i dont know. but if you have a working kx160, it would be very easy for you to let me know what to do.

i would be very apprecitive if someone can do this for me.

Just get the flex cable replaced and you have your contacts. Or get another phone and usually your contacts can be transferred to your new phone.

Just go to any cricket store, or for that fact it doesn't even have to be cricket. Most cell shops can either place your contacts onto another phone or print them out for you. If you are planning on buying a new phone, go get it then take it to a store and have them transfer the contacts. That's what I would do.
