seems like the times have evolved into single disc games. They are hardly any multi-disc games, granted blue dragon is but im pretty positive its filled with cgi cut scenes.

Why do people always talk about remakes? They almost never happen, and especially not for the original system's successor(ie MGS was remade, but not for PS2, only for GC).

I can see MGS4 taking up that much space though...for some reason everyone seems to be forgetting that there isn't a single pre-rendered background or setting in the game.

true.. but that is because a desire for it was there.. FF7 is Definatly in demand for the ps crowd. and while tactics and 7 are pipe dreams, they are dreams i enjoy having!!

i kinda lost interest when vice city came out, but if this comes out and is as good as people say then hell yeah im all for it. for some reason though i think its gonna be basically the same thing with minor upgrades.

A lot of the space on the disc is going to be used for lossless uncompressed audio. I think Kojima will try to make up for the lack of rumble with amazing audio. I need to get a nice 5.1 or 7.1 setup for this game!

probably. it's funny watching a blu-ray movie on the PS3 and when set to dolby digital 5.1, the audio bitrate hovers around 350kb/sec or so. then you switch to PCM and suddenly it jumps up above 6mb/sec
