So I bought a fish yesterday for my 1 gallon tank and the tank is far to small for it I believe that it is a Calico Subunkin Gold Fish. I am planning on setting up my 20 gallon tank and putting it in there in a week and a half. I was curious if Koi fish would be okay to have in with this goldfish. Any helpful information is appreciated.
I was always under the impression that the reason that fish stay small in a smaller tank is because the water is saturated with a certain hormone, and that this was not bad for te health of the fish. If you can explain this that would be great as well.
