Know of any FREE Photoshop alternative?

Need a program that will allow manipulation of photo's for trick photography. You know the things, ghost images, people in a bottle, etcetera.

Do you know where I can legally download a free program that will do this?

GimpShop is an extended version of photoshop. It made to make ou feel at home if you are used to photshop.
