Please DO NOT mention any vampire or werewolves stories. Those are a waste of time. BIG TIME!!! Also, no Harry Potter or His Dark Materials. I'd prefer books with a guy hero, and of course a girl hero but where the guy's more important but not TOO important like The Lord of the Rings. Okay, that was EPIC but there was, like, ZERO romance and stuff like that. Know what I mean? Otherwise, the trilogy was my favourite and still is. Other books I've read are Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I've skimmed through The Song of Fire and Ice & didn't find that too appealing. Read Ranger's Apprentice. Loved it! (if you know of books like that that's also good) Then I've browsed through other noels but couldn't find anything good enough to read. Also, is it worth it to read the Inheritance Cycle? The movie, Aragon, was horrible but I heard the book series was way better. I almost forgot, I also read The Chronicles of Narnia so don't bother to mention that. Another big time favourite was The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind and the Law of Nines by the same author. I found The Sword of Truth a little too preachy for my liking but read it mainlyy for the Richard & Kahlan love story. That's epic!! Any books you know of like that would be awesome too.
