Knights in Armor begin to march but there is no one in them. What movie is this?

All I can remember is that the Knights in Armor begin to come alive and march to music and they start to battle. Some are on horses, most on foot. Since nobody is actually in the armor, once they get hit, they simply fall apart and it is just armor. Again, there isn't anyone in these armor suits. I think they were under some sort of spell or something to that nature. This is why the came "alive". I saw this movie as a child (somewhere between 1990-97?) so it was not horror, or gory. Just a childs movie.
Can anyone think of the name of the movie?
