The past few months I have had extreme panic attacks to the point where I avoid certain places, driving gives me attacks, talking to strangers. I have been to the er twice because of them, they gave me ativan and told me to see someone of course. I went to a reg gp first, test were fine some apparently nothing is wrong with me medically. I do not believe it, I want to see a neurologist. I get so tense I feel like I am gonna convulse or have a seizure, is that normal? I suffered from anxiety and panic about 10 yrs ago and they just stopped on there own, weird I know. I do have alot going on in my life and I just feel overwhelmed and sad. The gp gave me Klonopin , I have only started yesterday and take half of the pill she gave me. It does work for me, but I do not feel like his is the answer. I am scheduled to see a psych dr next week. I just do not want to live on meRAB yet just yesterday I tried to walk into a store without meRAB and well guess what, it started and i ran to my car in panic. Does this ever stop? Can you control this without meRAB? I used to have a opiate addiction several years back that I overcame and now this! Another mountain and I feel hopeless. I just want to run away. I know I sound pathetic, I cant cope with normal things anymore. I am so irritable... Any experience with Klonpin?
