Kitsap County, WA. Places to shoot outdoors.?

I am a resident of Bremerton, WA, and am looking for some rural areas to practice with my firearms. Does anyone know of any good places off the beaten path, i.e. public lands, logging areas, etc, that would be devoid of other people for a decent radius? I know there are firing ranges in my area, but their fees and membership requirements make it inconvenient and thus undesirable for me to join. I know there are some laws regarding Dept of Fish and Wildlife Lands, but so far as I know state forest lands are ok. I'd prefer in the Port-Orchard or Belfair regions if anyone has some ideas. Thanks.
 
Hey im not real familiar with that part of the country anymore. I just wanted to say I was born in Bremerton, WA. and what I do remember is i loved it! Now im stuck here in Wyoming. But back to your question, is their any BLM land?
How about any friends that have farms or ranch's?
Im sure there has to be a good secuded spot somewhere close by!
