Anyone else seen the first and second episode of this programme, I must say Im quite enjoying it so far, she`s a bit odd, but feel sorry for her handy-man Jim who has been roped into the weight loss battle too!

Yup - saw it.

I found it quite entertaining.

But ...

Are we really to believe that this is 100% "real" ?

It just seems to me that everyone is too "camera-friendly". Her handyman is the main case in point. Sure, he's obese, but compared to the average member of the population he is actually quite attractive "facially". And for a workman he is incredibly natural (and articulate) on screen.

And the personal trainers were all so stereotypical.

And the PA - very attractive.

And the camp junior - straight from Ugly Betty.

Are we really to believe that this isn't all heavily scripted ? And that KA is fine with a bunch of people entering her bedroom in the middle of the night (when she would be made up or have her hair arranged).

My EPG referred to her as being 21 stone ... but at the weigh-in she was only 16 stone. What gives ?

I wasn`t too convinced about some of the `scenes` think it`s all a little convienient sometimes! We noticed the 2 different weights too, think she`s closer to the 21 st mark meself, and the female PA with the hair-don`t hmmm, anyway think I shall stick with it, and love the lemurs in the garden, although the cage looks a bit small for those type of animals I thought..

Now I'm no tree-hugger but ...

... over the last few years I've seen quite a few of the "reality" shows about the monkey rescue centre in Dorset. I've come to realise that no private person, however well-meaning, can really keep primates "properly".

Even with all their resources (large enclosures, dedicated keepers, clear scientific direction) Monkey World still claims to be the "best of a bad deal" for their monkeys ... not a valid way of life for them. For that reason they try not to breed any more monkeys (other than taking part in endangered species breeding programs).

Wild animals aren't "people in monkey suits" ... they're wild animals. They should be left alone to interact with an appropriate natural environment. Cuddling them (and even dressing them up !) is just plain wrong

I cant beleive that this is the same woman who was in Cheers in the 80s!!! She was really pretty and very slim back then and now look at her!!!!!:eek::eek:

Shes had a lot of weight issues over the past 10 or so years!! Remember her series Fat Actress?? Then she became a spokesperson for one of Americas weight loss systems, Jenny Craig and she lost a lot of weight through that and she even appeared on Oprah baring her all, so to speak, in a bikini and now shes balooned up to this again!!!:(:(:(
