I've got the sound muted (not for that reason) and just watching bits of King Kong and never heard of Jessica Lange before, but wasnt she gorgeous?! :D

Yes, she was & still is.

She starred in a good re-make of the 1933 original film.
Fay Wray did nothing but scream as far as I remember.

Ill get around to viewing King Kong (2005) one day.
 
She certainly was!
Was she "discovered" by Dino DeLaurentis when she made King Kong - I think it was her first film. She shot to even greater fame with the remake of The Postman Always Rings Twice.


It's very good - I think Kong had real character in it. An excellent remake of the excellent original.

I'd quite like to see the Jessica Lange remake again - I think it would be a bit spooky seeing Kong on top of the World Trade Centre. But, as you know, no telly! :(
