Kinda spooky situation help?

I am onboard a mining vessel in space, and some strange stuff is going on. The crew is acting funny, seeing hallucinations and such.

Lately, there has been a spike in the amount of casualties on board the ship, and we arent being informed as to why or how they died.

This all started when we pulled some sort of religious artifact off of that planet...

Any idea what's going on?
