i live in Nh and i want to get my garden started. But i have one problem. SLUGS. I have a bunch of them last year and they killed most of my garden.. I used a chemical that should have killed them but i still found a few .. I want to do something that will get rid of them for ever.. My garden is raised of the ground.. Does anyone have an idea. I have also tried the beer traps which work a little but still have slugs..

I have tried lots of things I have dusted the ground with either flour or diatomaceous earth. The beer in a old lid (mayo) also worked. I also have used finely crushed egg shell. Ice cream salt if you have a border I would not use it next to the plants. Hope this helps
