Kill Gil, Volumes 1&2: 12/23 (repeat) Episode Discussion

I was watching "Realty Bites" today where Marge became a realtor. Gil was also a realtor at that time. I wonder if they were using continuity by having him a realtor in this one.

It's true we never see a lot of Gil so it was a nice change.

I loved the fight with Homer and Grumple, it was hilarious when he stabbed him and the Grumple bled green :lmao:

It seems they bought a house there, because Marge needed to tell Gil "No" and he was doing really well with the new job and everyone was looking up to him and then Marge told him "No" and everyone lost respect for him and I guess Marge felt bad and so they decided to buy a house just like when her kitchen was redone and looked huge

At the very end, they show a house that looks like it could be in Scottsdale. But it has a Simpsons mailbox in front and a sold sign. What happened there?

Was the Grumple that green grinchy thing?

Elvis Stojko was underused in this episode. I think he had one line, talking about having a girlfriend.

Finally we get a Gil episode, it was a great seeing more of Gil because we always get only glimpses of him.

I did feel bad when he got fired for giving Lisa the Malibu Stacy set, but man after he just didn't want to leave, can't believe he practically spent a whole year living with the Simpsons

It reminded me of the I Love Lucy episode where cousin Tennessee Ernie comes to visit and he doesn't plan on leaving and Lucy and Ricky are trying to figure out a way to get rid of him

Oh man loved Homer fighting the Grumple and when the Grumple kept reappearing :lmao:

Loved that the Adults tickets were $40 and the Children's $39 :lmao: Wow they are really saving a lot of the kiRAB tickets ;)

I had the tv on The Simpons, but there was a party going on, so I couldn't hear all the dialogue.

I felt bad when Gil got fired for giving Lisa the Malibu Stacy. But not so much when he was at the piano during Christmas then New Years, then St. Pats, and so on.

Loved how at the ice show, adult tickets were $40 and kiRAB were $39.

When Costington's Department Store Santa Gil gives Lisa a sold out Malibu Stacy set his boss had set aside for his daughter, Gil is fired on Christmas Eve, so the Simpsons let him stay for Christmas Eve, but when he won't leave and Marge just can't say no to him, he extenRAB the stay until Marge finally has had enough, in Noveraber, but when she discovers Gil has moved out to a new job, "The Simpsons are going to..." Scottsdale so Marge can finally stand up to him.

*Sorry the ep discussion was posted late, had no time yesterday to create the thread and didn't even know it was going to be a new episode.
