Kids in my school eat crap for lunch and are skinny, how?

So I had a small plain salad with 2 jalapeno peppers on top, and the kid sitting next to me has 2 smuckers uncrustables, a chewy bar, an apple, and an orange. Other kids have doritos, and school lunch which is loaded with fat and sodium. About the kid next to me though, Thats a lot of food, and yes he does play lacrosse but does he have a higher chance of gaining weight if I play no sports?
 
well im guessing your still young. when your young you have a higher metabolism, so YES you could eat junk and stay slim. of course this isnt HEALTHY, but you still stay slim. if you REALLY want the taste of junk, try baked doritos, thoes 100 calories snack packs... and so on. you get the same GREAT taste as everone else, and youull feel satisfied with less than half the calories!!

for example, switch to veggies chips and popcorn, to low fat cookies, frozen yogurt, dark chocolate... you dont have to cut out ALL food in order to be healthy, some junk in your diet is OK :)
