I'm not sure if it was Goosebumps or Fear Street...or heck, even if it was by RL Stine.
I do remember that it was a horror book for kids/teenagers. It was about these young boys camping in the woods. One of them was kinda precocious (maybe...). And I think they got lost, and then there were these monsters chasing them through the forest. Wendigos. Windigos... How ever that was spelled.
Any idea what the book title is?
