KHS or Jamis road bike?

I'm still pretty new to road biking, and I'm looking to buy a new bike. My current one is a CCM Presto, but it's too small for me (neither my parents nor I knew anything about road biking when they bought it). The two main bikes I'm looking at are a KHS Flite 300, and the Jamis Ventura. Any tips or pros/cons would be great
